The design
Ryan Rankin transformed a bungalow in County Kerry into a serene retreat inspired by the natural landscape. The design features large picture windows to frame the views, a muted, nature-inspired color palette, and warm materials like Douglas fir, green-stained ash, and bird’s-eye maple.
Cozy textures such as sheepskin, mohair, and bouclé, along with sculptural furniture and mid-century collectibles, add character. The result is a simple, harmonious space that blends comfort and sophistication with its surroundings.
