FAQ

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO PHOTOGRAPH INTERIORS?

Architecture & Interior design photography is a slow paced, detailed process. Adding/subtracting light, slyling and determining composition are just a few of the steps I take before the photo is even captured to ensure your photos are looking stunning. Full day sessions are common for this type of photography.

SHOULD I STYLE MY PROJECTS FOR SESSIONS?

To create eye-catching, editorial targeted images I do recommend styling your projects for photography either by you or with a stylist. This helps tell the story & set the mood within a space. But don't worry I always carry a prop kit in case we need to add something.

HOW CAN I MAXIMIZE MY INVESTMENT ON SESSION DAY?

Styling, staging & cleaning the day before the session is the key to maximizing your time + image count on session day. It is normal while we are shooting to move decor & shift furniture, but by having the spaces fully ready will allow us to focus on taking beautiful photos. If you fully stage & style the morning of the session, you may find yourself in a stressful time crunch and I want you to enjoy the day as much as possible. If you have any questions about staging or styling before the session I am more than happy to help.

HOW LONG WILL TAKE TO RECEIVE THE FINALS?

I'll deliver you the finals within 2-3 weeks after proofs are selected for editing.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

The cost sharing program allows multiple parties to license images from the photographer from one session. Costs of the licensing + photography session can be split between any and all relevant parties involved in your project. This may be the interior designer, architect, contractor, or supplier that had a hand in your project. This practice will also alleviate the need for each trade to find & hire a photographer. The more businesses you have involved with one session, the more you will save.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I REACH OUT TO BOOK A SESSION?

Availability can vary, but I recommend booking as far in advance as possible to get the most options that fit with your schedule. Average client booking times from initial reach out to shoot day is average 3-6 weeks in advance.

What are your rates?

We will need to chat. Every project is different, and every client has different needs. That’s why I provide a custom estimate for every project after a brief chat, so I can understand what your needs are.  If you are not clear what do you need, telling us your budget and an idea of what to get from me and I will give you a quote adapted to your budget. My prices starts from €650.

Can I share the final images to other parties?

Third-party usage is NOT permitted unless properly licensed. Refer to the cost sharing example above. Any other parties interested in the final photos should either enter the cost sharing agreement in advance of the shoot to obtain a large discount, or they can license individual photos directly through me after the shoot at the full per-photo rate.

Do I own the images you create for me?

All photos are the copyrighted work of the photographer. I register every photo I deliver and I retain all rights to the photos. As a client, you are provided with a License to use the photos.

You are already accustomed to a licensing model. When you “buy” a song through Apple Music, you don’t actually own the song, but rather, you own a license to listen to the song on any of your personal devices for your own entertainment. Likewise, you don’t own Microsoft Excel. You own a license to use the software with limitations. Photos are the same.

I include a standard usage license with every photo. This usage includes what most design businesses need every day, such as website, social media, architecture and design competition entries, internal uses, including proposals, printed collateral, and wall displays. This is a perpetual license that does not expire. Additional usage may require additional licenses, which can be added up front or anytime in the future.
