It fascinates me working with other artist and even more with interior designers and architects, I love spaces and how a simple room can change just with some elements, right colour and little details. Collaborating with a client who never worked with an specialized photographer in interior and architecture or never did at all would make me very excited to see their work and capture it the best way possible to showcase it later one on their website or better yet in a magazine.

When collaborating with a new photographer, the initial sessions will primarily revolve around building rapport and understanding how we can work together effectively as a team, all while producing remarkable photos. Prior to any interior session, I provide clients with a comprehensive guide outlining what to expect on the day of the shoot. This guide offers a general overview of the steps we will follow throughout the day to maximize efficiency. It is important to note that interior photography is a meticulous and slow pace process that focuses on capturing intricate details, moving furniture, adding and subtracting light, etc. Each project will be unique and the time required may vary based on numerous factors. If a shot necessitates extensive staging or the inclusion of models or pets, it can enhance the overall image but may limit the number of photos we can produce in a single day. Similarly, if a space is more challenging to capture from a photography perspective, additional time will be needed to capture each shot. On the day of the shoot, there will be a lot happening on location, and it's possible to overlook a feature that you genuinely wanted to showcase. To mitigate this, I suggest to create a shot list for the initial shoots until the photographer becomes familiar with your preferences.

Let me explain my process; on site we will walk room to room and discuss angles to photograph, which aligns our visions. On my tablet, you will see a preview of every image I take—this shows you what styling elements need to be adjusted to create the perfect photo. You can decide to be involve on each photo I capture to check every detail and not miss anything we don't want or just leave my vision and knowledge do the magic or a little bit of both. These sessions are super fun and casual.

Every photographer has their own distinct process. If you have worked with a photographer in the past for your projects, it's important to recognize that their approach may differ significantly from that of your new photographer. Some photographers work swiftly, capturing a multitude of spaces and providing numerous final photos. Others may opt for a more concentrated approach, capturing only a few shots due to the intricate nature of the process. It is advisable to compile a list of priorities when searching for a photographer and ask pertinent questions during your initial conversation with them.

A good interior photographer understands their value; and I strongly recommend investing in ones to ensure that your work and brand are highly portrayed in the best possible light. Even if you’re a new designer, especially if you're a new designer! It's crucial to allocate your marketing budget wisely.
