I had such a great time working on this project, documenting a home that blends smart design with sustainability. Located in the peaceful Irish countryside in Cork, this place is a perfect example of how good planning and creative vision can come together beautifully.

Rodger and Lindsey, the homeowners, wanted a home that felt modern but also eco-friendly. They teamed up with an architect to strike the right balance between style and practicality. The end result? A minimalist yet eye-catching design that fits right into the landscape. I especially loved the mix of roof lines, a single-sloped on one side and a pitched roof on the other—which adds so much character to the house.

Inside, the vibe is all about open, airy spaces that feel fresh and welcoming. Everything, from the energy-efficient heating system to the clever use of materials, shows how much thought went into making this home both sustainable and cozy. The way natural light floods the spaces makes it so inviting, perfect for family living.

Photographing this house was such a joy. I loved capturing the clean lines, the textures, and how the light plays throughout the spaces. The staircase, in particular, stood out to me, it’s such a simple yet elegant feature that ties everything together.

This project really shows how you can combine style and sustainability without compromising on either. Being able to tell this story through my photos was such a privilege, and I hope these shots inspire others who are dreaming up their own homes.
